Presents alcohol awareness in a way students can relate to. Underlying message accepts that young people may go out drinking but gets them to think about the consequences. Opportunity at the end of the lesson for debate and discussion about drinking and the role alcohol plays in our society

Tracking lesson objectives

(0)
This resource allows students to track their progress through individual lesson objectives. At the start of the lesson they write the objectives in, at the end the RAG each objective and set a plan for how they are going to ensure all objectives become green. Teachers can then collect this in and use it to prepare revision or the next lesson.

Consolidating Knowledge and Revision Notes

(0)
An activity that makes students condense their notes into ever smaller boxes to prepare them for revision. I then ask them to write the smallest box onto flash cards with a reference to the overall sheet so they can check back on more notes if they are stuck I have also uploaded a whole bank of stretch and challenge activities like this that can be used in a variety of ways

Revision Activity - Which information is important?

(0)
A revision activity that encourages students to break down the information they have learnt either on a topic or in a lesson. This asks students to consider the most important information and what the main content is. This can also help them create revision notes, or can be used as a starter or plenary I have also uploaded a whole bank of stretch and challenge activities like this that can be used in a variety of ways

Revision Activity - How would you explain this to..?

(0)
A simple revision activity that can also be used as a plenary or starter. This asks students how they would explain the concepts from the days lesson to different people. This makes students break down and analyse the elements of what they have learnt. I have also uploaded a whole bank of stretch and challenge activities like this that can be used in a variety of ways
